Mae Keane celebrates 100th birthday

Mae Keane joins Lauriston S. Taylor in the High Exposure Centenarian Hall of Fame. (The journalist who wrote the article for the Boston Globe assumed that she was the last surviving radium dial painter, but this is unlikely because a number of people born later than 1906 worked in that line of business.

No one knows for sure about the exact longevity of the radium dial painters, or if any others are still alive, because a study of their health was stopped number of years ago.
